Carl Henry Diederich A Mass of Christian burial for Carl Henry Diederich of Troy, MO was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 16, 2004 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe, MO. Father Gregory Schmidt, church pastor, officiated with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery near Old Monroe. Serving as pallbearers were nieces and nephews. Mr. Diederich, 69, died Tuesday afternoon, January 13, 2004 at Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy. Born October 22, 1934 in Flint Hill, MO, he was the son of the late Raymond Francis and Mary M. Fanning Diederich. He was employed for a number of years as a concrete laborer. He was a member of the Laborer's Union in St. Charles, MO, and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe. Mr. Diederich was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Mary Diederich. Survivors include two brothers: Bro. Kevin Diederich of Epworth, IA, and Ray Diederich and his wife, Sherry, of St. Peters, MO; three sisters: Betty Burkemper and her husband, Wilbert, and Dorothy Ruff, both of St. Peters, and Alice Erbe and her husband, Donald, of Silex, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 15, 2004 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO.
