Obituary of Mark Pezold

Mark Joseph Pezold A Mass of Christian burial for Mark Joseph Pezold of Elsberry, MO was held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2002 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry. Father Bill Baier, church pastor, officiated with burial in St. Ferdinand Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Serving as pallbearers were Bill Lageman, Jimmy Henry, George Nieters, Matt Lageman, Brenden Lageman, and Damon Nickens. Mr. Pezold, 43, died Wednesday morning, September 17, 2003 at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. Born December 17, 1959 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Fred W. and Celine A. Aubuchon Pezold. He was a graduate of Jennings High School in St. Louis and attended North County Technical School. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Elsberry. Besides his parents, Fred and Celine Pezold, he was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Siebels; two brothers: David Pezold and an infant brother; and an special uncle, Pierre Aubuchon Survivors include five brothers: Fred L. Pezold and his wife, Loretta, of Walshville, IL, William "Bill" Pezold and his wife, Sandi, of Elsberry, John Pezold and his wife, Jo Rhee, of Columbus, GA, Tom Pezold and his wife, Sarah, of Middleland, GA, and Ralph Pezold of Columbus, GA; one sister, Celine Livington and her husband, Stephen, of Columbus, GA; one brother-in-law, George Siebels of Florissant, MO; one sister-in-law, Kathy Pezold of Austin, TX; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2003 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
