Dorothy Berniece Jameson Funeral services for Dorothy Berniece Jameson of St. Louis, MO were held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 29, 2003 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Sue Jackson, pastor of Makin' Memorial United Methodist Church, officiated with burial in Winfield Cemetery in Winfield. Serving as pallbearers were Keith Gallup, Rick Gallup, Brian Wehde, David Wehde, Chad Ward, and Lonnie Gallup. Mrs. Jameson, 78, died Sunday evening, August 24, 2003 at St. Anthony's Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. Born January 2, 1925 in Winfield, MO, she was the daughter of the late Vollie Jones and Eva Pearl Parsons Bell. She was a 1943 graduate of Winfield High School. She was united in marriage on May 31, 1947 in Troy, MO to Paul Jameson. She was employed for a number of years as an executive secretary for Frisco Railroad, retiring in 1983. Besides her parents, Vollie and Eva Bell, she was preceded in death by one brother-in-law, Bill Gallup; and her beloved husband, Paul Jameson, who died October 27, 1968. Survivors include one brother, Wilbert Lee Bell and his wife, Ruth, of Winfield; one sister, Marjorie Gallup of Elsberry; two sisters-in-law, Carol Stuckey and Virginia Jameson, both of St. Louis, MO several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2003 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
