Obituary of Michael Fox

Michael Jason Fox Funeral services for Michael Fox of Elsberry, MO were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 5, 2003 at Carter Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Rev. Hubert Newman of Winfield, MO, officiated with burial in the Elsberry City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers were Tommy Kinion, Ben Kinion, Brandon Turnbull, Dwayne Brace, Gary Thomas Wheeler and Kevin Hunter. Michael, 18, died Friday, August 1, 2003 in a wooded area at his home near Elsberry. Born June 19, 1985 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Douglas Eugene and Dana Annette Johnson Fox. He was a student in the class of 2004 at Elsberry High School, and studied auto body at the Pike/Lincoln Vo-Tech School in Eolia. He was a member of the Elsberry FFA Chapter. Survivors include his mother, Dana Fox of Elsberry; his father, Douglas Fox of Lutesville, MO; one brother, Jacob Fox and his wife, Holly, and one niece, Summer Renea Fox, all of Chaffee, MO. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Bill and Mable Johnson of St. Charles, MO; his paternal grandparents, Estel and Barb Fox of Lutesville; his close friend, Mandy Johnson of Elsberry; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 4, 2003 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
