Obituary of Carl Zwick

Carl Louis Zwick Funeral services for Carl Louis Zwick of Annada, MO, were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2003 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Bob Norvel, pastor of Annada Community Christian Church, officiated with burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery near Elsberry. Serving as pallbearers were Harris Guyton, Bill Hunter, Steve Illy, Randy McMillen, Andy McMillen, and Russell Ward. Honorary pallbearers were Richard Stewart, Ken Bochantin, Larry Douglas, Dave Miller, Harry Herbert, Tom Tucker, Charles Schneider, and John Warren. Mr. Zwick, 60, died Monday morning, June 30, 2003 in Newark, NJ. Born September 20, 1942 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Carl Charles and Virginia Marie Weiss Zwick. He was united in marriage on February 16, 1974 in St. Louis, MO, to Maryann Frances Burlew. He owned and operated C & M Transport for many years. He was a member of the Annada Community Christian Church in Annada, MO. Mr. Zwick was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Charles and Virginia Marie Zwick. Survivors include his beloved wife, Maryann Zwick of Annada; one son, Heath Zwick of Annada; two daughters: Kim Ward of O'Fallon, MO, and Vickie King of St. Ann, MO; and six grandchildren. He also leaves one sister, Eileen Reid and her husband, Robert, of Elsberry; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation was held from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2003 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
