Obituary of Dale Davis

Dale Wayne Davis Graveside services for Dale Wayne Davis of Elsberry, MO, were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at Oak Ridge Cemetery near Elsberry. Rev. Sue Jackson, pastor of Smith Chapel United Methodist, officiated. Serving as pallbearers were Coby Davis, Jeremy LaBanca, Jeremy Steen, Paul LaBanca, Ben Hensiek, and Charles Lee. Mr. Davis, 40, died Thursday, June 26, 2003 at his home near Elsberry. Born June 5, 1963 in Lincoln County, MO, he was the son of Terry Dale and Rosemary Rotha LaBanca Davis. He was employed as a tree trimmer for Hinges Tree Trimming. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting. Survivors include his special friend, Tina St. John of Foley, MO; two daughters: Katie Lynn Davis and Teri Dale Davis, both of Foley; one step-son, Sean Michael Henderson of Foley; and one step-daughter, Ashley Nicole St. John of Foley. He also leaves his parents, Terry and Rosemary Davis of Elsberry; his grandmother, Alberta Davis of Elsberry; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2003 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
