Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Reller

Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Reller A mass of Christian Burial for Elizabeth "Betty" Ann Reller of Old Monroe, MO, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 7, 2011 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Old Monroe, MO. Fr. Phil Krahman, church pastor, will officiate with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Old Monroe. Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Reller, Claude Reller, Thomas Reller, Adam Reller, Nate Reller, Cody Reller, Sam Reller and Ted Zerrer. Mrs. Reller, 80, passed away Thursday night, November 3, 2011 at Delmar Gardens in O'Fallon, MO. Born March 19, 1931 in Pinelawn, MO, she was the daughter of Walter John and Gladys Gertrude Vance Scott. She was a 1949 graduate of Troy High School. She was united in marriage on June 3, 1952 in Old Monroe to Leo George Reller. This union was blessed with three children: Mark, Claude and Thomas. Mrs. Reller worked as a seamstress for Thro's and later as a sales clerk for Dillards, retiring in 2000. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Gladys Scott; one sister, Patricia N. Elbert; one brother-in-law, Vic Reller; and her beloved husband of 50 years, Leo "Pete" Reller who died December 24, 2002. Survivors include three sons: Mark Reller and his wife, Linda, of Old Monroe, Claude Reller and his wife, Judy, of Shreveport, LA and Thomas Reller and his wife, Barbara, of St. Peters, MO; two sisters: Dorothea J. Murphy and her husband, Kenneth, of Salem, MO and Virginia L. Burkemper and her husband, David, of O'Fallon, MO; in-laws: Charles Elbert of Baldwin, MD, Kenneth Reller and his wife, Bonnie, of Old Monroe, Dolly Reller of St. Charles, MO; nine grandchildren: Sara, Adam, Emily, Nate, Sam, Katy, Megan, Cody and Ashley; four great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
