Obituary of Valerie Jeanne Franke

Valerie Jeanne Franke Funeral services for Valerie Jeanne Franke of Winfield, MO, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Lee Sanders, pastor of the First Baptist Church of O'Fallon, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Lawrence, Marc Lawrence, Michael Franke, Brian Franks, Curtis Beckemeier and Aaron Burkemper. Ms. Franke, 46, passed away Friday evening, September 23, 2011 at DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, MO. Born November 7, 1964 in Troy, MO, she was the daughter of Eugene Henry and Ginger Carol Stillman Franke. A lifelong resident of the Winfield area, she was a 1983 graduate of Winfield High School. She worked for several years at Winfield Banking Company, now Peoples Bank & Trust Co. in Winfield. Ms. Franke was currently employed as a Loan Officer at the Bank of Old Monroe in Old Monroe, MO. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of O'Fallon, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Ginger Franke; and one sister, Rochelle McElroy who passed away in 2008. Survivors include one sister, Saundra Beckemeier and her husband, Denny, of Olathe, KS; her brother, Brian Franke and his wife, Sheryl, of Lee's Summit, MO; several nieces and nephews: Chris & Kristy Lawrence, Marc & Joanna Lawrence and Brittney Lawrence, Ashlee Beckemeier and Lynsey & Brian Franks, and Michael Franke and Morgan Franke; great-nieces and great-nephew: Ava Lawrence and Arianna and Diesel Lawrence, cousins, other relatives and a boat load of friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
