Obituary of Evelyn Mozelle Mcintosh

Evelyn Mozelle McIntosh Funeral Services for Evelyn Mozelle McIntosh of Elsberry, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Brother Raymond Doussard will officiate with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery in Elsberry. Serving as pallbearers will be Alfred McIntosh, Alfred McIntosh, Cary McIntosh, Ricky Harding, Ricki McIntosh and Howard McIntosh. Mrs. McIntosh, 65, passed away early Monday morning, September 19, 2011 at her home in Elsberry. Born September 28, 1945 in Fulton, KY, she was the daughter of John and Jettie Maness. She was united in marriage on February 21, 1964 in Dupo, IL to Howard Wayne McIntosh. This union was blessed with one daughter, Katrina Ann. Mrs. McIntosh loved to draw and feed the birds. She was a member of Star Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Jettie Maness and two brothers: Roy and William Maness. Survivors include her beloved husband of 47 years, Howard W. McIntosh of Elsberry. She also leaves her daughter Katrina Ann Acker of Elsberry; two granddaughters: Alicia E. Harding and Sylvia Evelyn Acker; several other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday September 21, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
