Obituary of John Jay Bromwich

John Jay Bromwich Funeral services for John Jay Bromwich of Winfield, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Richard Turnbull of Winfield and Pastor David Klee of Foley Baptist Church, will officiate with burial in Bethany Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Chris Bromwich, Jason Bromwich, Chad Bromwich, John Perry, Paul Dixon and Sean Kenney. Mr. Bromwich, 47, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011 in Fort Washington, Maryland. Born October 8, 1963 in Troy, Missouri, he was the son of John Henry and Theresa Bertina Yelick Bromwich. He was a Union floor layer by trade and a member of Local 1310. Mr. Bromwich loved the outdoors and to hunt and fish. He was a member of the Foley Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Frances Holdenried who died October 21, 1986. Survivors include one daughter, Amanda Nicole Bromwich and her husband, Obinna, of Winfield and one son, Chad Ryan Bromwich of Winfield. He also leaves his parents, John and Bertina Bromwich of Winfield; one sister, Cathy Delaine Cox and her husband, Ron, of Waco, TX; two brothers: Michael Bromwich and his wife, Viola, of Foley, MO and Allen Bromwich and his wife Kathy of Winfield; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
