Richard Kurt Pfleger Funeral services for Richard Pfleger of Foley, MO were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home officiated with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Mr. Pfleger, 59, passed away Tuesday evening, July 12, 2011 at his son's home near Foley. Born September 28, 1951 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Robert F. and Virginia R. Jaco Pfleger. He was employed for many years as a ramp employee for American Airlines, retiring September 30, 2006. He was a member of the Transporters Workers' Union in St. Louis. He served as a Boy Scout Leader in St. Charles, MO for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia Pfleger. Survivors include his son, Chris Pfleger and his wife, Angie of Foley; other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 16, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
