Obituary of Kenneth Eugene Francisco

Kenneth Eugene Francisco, Jr. Funeral Services for Kenneth Eugene Francisco, Jr. of Foley, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield, MO. Rev. Richard Turnbull of Winfield will officiate with burial in New Salem Cemetery in Winfield. Mr. Francisco, 57, passed away late Tuesday night, July 5, 2011 at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, MO. Born July 4, 1954 in Pontiac, MI, he was the son of Kenneth Eugene and Freida Jones Francisco, Sr. He served his country in the United States Marines as an E-1. He was united in marriage on April 12, 1984 in Toledo, OH to Kathy Denise Oates. This union was blessed with two children: John and Melissa. He worked as a shell builder for O'Fallon Casting; retiring in 2007. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and collecting guns and knives. He was a member of the Foley Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Freida Francisco, Sr.; one sister, Dawn Francisco; his paternal grandparents, John and Cleo Francisco; and his beloved wife of 26 years, Kathy Francisco, who died July 26, 2010. Survivors include one son, John Francisco; and one daughter, Melissa Francisco, both of Foley. He also leaves his mother-in-law, Odator E. "Dutch" Oates, of Foley; two brothers: Michael Francisco and his wife, Karen, and Delmer Francisco, all of Michigan; four sisters and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
