Beulah Audene Sconce Eaton Funeral services for Beulah Audene Sconce Eaton of Winfield, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Her nephew, Rev. Lindell Wayne Sconce of Kansas City, MO, will officiate with burial in New Salem Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Stephen Eaton, Sandra Jeane Eaton Baumgarth, Shelley Amato, Billy McGhee, Kevin McGhee and Ron Sconce. Mrs. Eaton, 88, passed away early Sunday morning, May 15, 2011 at her home near Winfield. Born March 22, 1923 in Ellington, MO, she was the daughter of Clyde and Stella Callahan Sconce. She was united in marriage on May 4, 1940 in Van Buren, MO to Arnold Julian Eaton. This union was blessed with six children: Ivan Wayne, Douglas Dewaine, Ronald, Connie, Yvonne and Michael Julian. She was employed for many years at American Bakery in St. Louis, MO. After moving to rural Lincoln County, she worked as a cook at Winfield schools for several years. Mrs. Eaton also served as a caregiver for Anthony Greco for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Stella Sconce; two brothers: Arnold and Lindell Sconce; one sister, Mildred Phillips; her beloved husband of 40 years, Arnold Eaton, who died September 10, 1980; three children who died as infants because of an RH negative blood factor: Ronald (1946), Connie (1947) and Yvonne (1948) Eaton; her son, Wayne Eaton who died in 2000; a daughter-in-law, Judy Eaton in 2002; and a granddaughter, Jillian Marie Eaton who died in 1989. Survivors include her two sons: Douglas D. Eaton and his wife, Carolyn, of House Springs, MO, and Michael J. Eaton and his wife, Lisa, of Winfield; eight grandchildren: Sandra Jeane (Curt) Baumgarth of Catawissa, MO, Shelley (Vince) Amato of Woodbridge, VA, Stephen (Colette) Eaton of High Ridge, MO, Elizabeth "Beth" (Bill) McGhee of Cedar Hill, MO, Kenny Wayne Eaton of Pacific, MO, and Molly Eaton, Matthew Eaton and Justin Eaton, all of Winfield; fourteen great-grandchildren: Chelsey Baumgarth, Colten Baumgarth, Ryan Moyer, Dylan Moyer, Dustyn Moyer, Steven Amato, Christopher Amato, Billy McGhee, Kevin McGhee, Amanda McGhee, Sherry Eaton, Nick Eaton, Sam Eaton and Sydney Eaton; and three great, great-grandchildren: Logan Humphrey, Dillon McGhee and Mason McGhee. She also leaves one brother, Glen Sconce of Imperial, MO; five sisters-in-law: Mary Sconce of Troy, MO, Lorene Garrett and her husband, Harlan, of Fenton, MO, Shirley Agee of Springfield, MO, Nellie Eaton of Ellington and Joan Eaton of Salem, MO; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
