Obituary of Freida Marie Wehde

Freida Marie Wehde Funeral Services for Freida Marie Wehde of Winfield, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 5, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Pete Gounis, of Community Loving Care Hopsice, will officiate with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Old Monroe, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be Dave Kliensongi, Scott Diederich, Paul Monroe, Don Turnbull, Dave Finnern and Jim Blackburn. Mrs. Wehde, 65, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 1, 2011 at her home in Winfield. Born September 21, 1945 in Campbell, MO she was the daughter of James Alvin and Phronia Ann Britt Epley. She was united in marriage on September 21, 1985 in Foley, MO to Robert Clarence "Bob" Wehde. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and office manager for Troy Manor in Troy, MO retiring July 29, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Phronia Epley; two brothers: William Epley and Dewey Epley; and two sisters: Lucille Winberry and Bertha Eddy. Survivors include her beloved husband of 25 years, Robert C. "Bob" Wehde of Winfield; one son, Tim Clark of Eagle Rock, MO; one daughter, Cindy Schneider of Cedar Springs, IA; two step-daughters: Chris Reddiger and her husband, Eric, of Houston, TX and Becky Wehde-Vaughn, and her husband, T.J., of Fairfield, IL; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She also leaves one brother, Alvin Epley and his wife, Louise, of Livingston, IL; one sister, Shirley Duncan and her husband, Doyle, of Afton, MO; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
