Crystal Louise Lewis Funeral services for Crystal Louise Lewis of Paynesville, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Jeanie Webdell, pastor of Clarksville United Methodist Church, will officiate, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Clarksville, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be Rob Hall, Jason Hall, Harris Guyton, Patrick O'Brien, Scott Corley and Zach Wheeler. Mrs. Lewis, 90, passed away Thursday morning, April 28, 2011 at Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana, MO. Born September 15, 1920 in Paynesville, MO she was the daughter of John T. and Josie Dean Meloan Hopke. She was a 1939 graduate of Paynesville High School. She attended college at Rubicun Business School in St. Louis, MO. She was united in marriage on November 6, 1942 in St. Louis, MO to Benjamin Bradley Lewis, Jr. This union was blessed with four sons: Tommy, Robert, James and John. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Benjamin Bradley Lewis, Jr. Survivors include her sons: Tommy Marion Lewis and his wife, Debra, of Paynesville, Robert Hall Lewis and his wife, Arlene, of Trenton, MO, James Meloan Lewis and his wife, Karen, of Cape Carl, FL, and John Lee Lewis of Bowling Green, MO; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one great, great-grandchild. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2011 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
