Obituary of Joseph William John Landrigan

Joseph William Landrigan Memorial services for Joseph William John Landrigan of Troy, MO, formerly of Annada, MO, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Annada Community Christian Church in Annada. Rev. Robert Norvel, church pastor, will officiate. Mr. Landrigan, 76, died Friday afternoon, January 21, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital West in Lake Saint Louis, MO. Born October 21, 1934 in Boston, MA, he was the son of Joe and Margaret Landrigan. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict from 1951 - 1953. He was united in marriage on December 3, 1960 in Maplewood, MO to Edna Piatt. This union was blessed with three children: Steven Joseph, Rhonda Michele and Clinton John. He was married again on August 13, 1977 in St. Charles, MO to Diana Lee Dejnozka. Two children were born to this union: Mary Terease and Joseph William, II. He was employed by Nancy Transportation for many years as an over-the-road trucker, retiring in 2001. Survivors include his beloved wife of 33 years, Diana Landrigan of Troy; three sons: Steven J. Landrigan of Bunker, MO, Clinton J. Landrigan of Timber, MO, and Joseph William Landrigan, II of Annada; two daughters: Rhonda M. Landrigan of Springfield, MO, and Mary Terease Flood and her husband, Kyle, of Troy; one step-son, Kevin Elliot Pfeiffer of Little Rock, AR; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He also leaves his former wife, Edna Landrigan of Springfield; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A time of visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until time of the service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the Annada Community Christian Church.
