Obituary of Barbara L. Stuckey

Barbara L. Stuckey A memorial service for Barbara L. Stuckey of Elsberry, MO will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. J. Larry Carter will officiate. Mrs. Stuckey, 77, passed away November 28, 2010 at her home in Elsberry. Born March 28, 1933 in San Jose, CA she was the daughter of William and Florence Delaney Richards. She worked for many years as a bus driver for St. Charles Transit. She was a member of Central Groves United Methodist Church near Warrenton MO She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Florence Richards, and one daughter, Laura L. Ard. Survivors include one son, David Ard and his wife Pam of Elsberry; four grandchildren: William D. "Bill" Ard, Dianna Potter, Lena Coomer and Michelle Coomer, all of Elsberry; and four great-grandchildren: Kevin Coomer, Shandi Coomer, Christian Potter and Wyatt Coomer. She also leaves two brothers: Thomas Richards of Stockton, CA and James A. Richards of Colville, WA: one sister, Carolyn A. Nichols and her husband, Joe, of Lebanon, MO; and James Davidson of Warrenton, MO and Jeannie Couchman, who were raised in her home; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 3:00 p.m. at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Memorials may be made to the family of Barbara L.
