Obituary of Michael Dean Griffith

Michael Dean Griffith A Memorial Service for Michael Dean Griffith of Foley, MO will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2010 at Star Hope Baptist Church in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Allen Calkins, church pastor, will officiate. Mr. Griffith, 55, passed away Wednesday morning, November 17, 2010 at his home in Foley. Born February 28, 1955 in Tulsa, OK he was the son of Joseph and Sidnie Teegarden Griffith. He was united in marriage on November 28, 1993 in St. Clair, MO to Catherine Fay Hanks. He worked for many years as an aircraft mechanic for Washington Municipal Airport near Washington, MO. He was a member of the Star Hope Baptist Church in Elsberry, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Sidnie Griffith and one step-son, Robert Allen Breaux. Survivors include his beloved wife of almost 17 years, Catherine Griffith of Foley; one brother, David Griffith and his wife, Carlena, of Chouteau, OK; two sisters: Sandy McCord and her husband, Ted, of Claremore, OK and Linda Redemann of Tulsa, OK; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
