Obituary of Bobby Dean Ratliff

Bobby Dean Ratliff Funeral services for Bobby Dean Ratliff will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday October 10, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Mike Ryan, pastor of Winfield First Baptist Church will officiate. Mr. Ratliff, 54, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 6, 2010 at his home in Winfield, MO. Born January 31, 1956 in Tipton, IN he was the son of James Rudolph and Frances LaVerne McCool Ratliff. He served his country in the United States Army from January 31, 1974 until being honorably discharged on February 27, 1976. He worked for many years as a painter for Hussman Refrigeration. He was united in marriage on June 8, 2010 in Bowling Green, MO to Terisa Louise Layne. He was preceded in death by his father, James Ratliff; and a brother, Jimmy Ray Ratliff. Survivors include his beloved wife, Terry Ratliff, of Winfield; three daughters: Chassidy Ratliff and her husband, Gus Langenckert, of Mesa, AZ, Tracy Henke and her husband, Brian, of Winfield and Jamie Ratliff of St. Charles, MO; three step-children: Michael and Lacie McCarthy and Nathan Hinderliter; seven grandchildren: Brendan Mazzola, Shelbie and Caleb Langeneckert, Madysen and Masen Henke, and Alannah and Kiliegh Ingram. He also leaves his mother, Frances Egler of Winfield; two brothers: Bruce Ratliff and his wife, Georgia of St. Charles, and Billy Ratliff of Winfield; one sister, Janie Cohoon and her husband, Jeff, of Elsberry, MO; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
