Kathy Denise Francisco Funeral services for Kathy Denise Francisco of Foley, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 29, 2010 at Carter-Ricks near Winfield, MO. Rev. Richard Turnbull of Winfield will officiate with burial in New Salem Cemetery in Winfield, MO. Kathy, 50, passed away Monday morning, July 26, 2010 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, MO. Born April 13, 1960 in Detroit, Michigan, she was the daughter of Melvin Harold and Odator Era "Dutch" Slavings Oates. She was a 1978 graduate of Waterford Township High School in Waterford, MI. She attended Oakland Community College. She was united in marriage on April 12, 1984 in Toledo, OH to Kenneth Eugene Francisco. This union was blessed with two children: John and Melissa. She was a member of the Foley Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Oates, and one brother, Robert Oates. Survivors include her beloved husband of 26 years, Ken Francisco; one son, John Francisco; one daughter, Melissa Francisco, all of Foley. She also leaves her mother, Odator "Dutch" Oates, of Foley; several in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO.
