Obituary of Patrick Jeremy Fakes

Patrick Jeremy "P.J." Fakes Funeral services for Patrick Jeremy "P.J." Fakes of Elsberry, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Elsberry AR Presbyterian Church. Rev. Conrad Cheatham, church pastor, will officiate with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Anderson, Charlie Bonstell, Ronnie Moss, Mike Hartley, Matt Hartley, Ryan Anderson, Derek Dotson, Kevin Dotson, Jordan Noble, Chris Bonstell, Zachary Fakes, John Fakes, Andy Chilson, Josh Chilson, David Preston, Darren Preston and Dwayne Preston. P.J., 30, passed away Monday morning, April 19, 2010 at his home in Elsberry. Born September 22, 1979 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Patrick Wayne and Kathryn Sue Dotson Fakes. He was a lifelong Elsberry resident. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Max and Carol Fakes. Survivors include his parents, Patrick and Kathryn Fakes; three sisters: Jodi Stone and her husband, Chad of Elsberry, Jennifer Burkemper and her husband, Jamie, of Walhalla, SC and Katie Fakes of Festus, MO; one brother, Adrian Fakes of St. Charles, MO; his maternal grandparents, Ray and Darlene Dotson of Elsberry and his paternal grandmother, Carol Scott of Spokane, WA. He also leaves his nieces and nephews: Chelsie, Kyle, Conner and Wyatt Stone, John and Jossi Burkemper and Samantha Fakes; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Memorials may be made to the Family of Patrick Jeremy "P.J."
