Obituary of Mary A. Prinster

Mary A. Prinster A Mass of Christian burial for a beautiful lady and mother, Mary A. Prinster of Old Monroe, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Old Monroe, MO. Msgr. Gregory Schmidt, church pastor, and Msgr. Don Schramm, associate pastor of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, will officiate with burial in Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Old Monroe. Serving as pallbearers will be Andrew Prinster, Kelly Prinster, Shanna Linton, Josh Linton, Diane Prinster, Marcus Price, Steven Price and Deanna Price. Mrs. Prinster, 70, died Sunday evening, February 28, 2010 at Barnes St. Peters Hospital in St. Peters, MO. Born December 20, 1939 in St. Peters, MO, she was the daughter of Joseph and Nettie Boschert Wilke. She was a 1957 graduate of Assumption High School in O'Fallon, MO. She was united in marriage on August 23, 1958 to William A. "Bill" Prinster. This union was blessed with two children: Philip and Ann. She was employed as the bookkeeper for Bill Prinster Excavating and Ditching from 1986 until the present. She was a member of the Old Monroe Lion's Club and the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Old Monroe. She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Nettie Wilke; and one brother, Clifford Wilke. Survivors include her beloved husband of 51 years, Bill Prinster; one son, Philip William Prinster and his wife, Bonnie, of Moscow Mills, MO; one daughter, Ann Marie Price and her husband, Daniel, of Moscow Mills; six grandchildren: Andrew Prinster and his wife, Kelly, Shanna Linton and her husband, Josh, Diane Prinster, Marcus Price, Steven Price and Deanna Price; and two great-grandchildren: Wolfgang Stroh and Dakota Ironsen. She also leaves one brother, Orville Wilke of St. Peters; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. A Lion's Rose Service will be held during the visitation Tuesday evening. A Rosary Service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, prior to the mass at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
