Obituary of Oneta Zane Mckeever

Oneta Zane McKeever A memorial service for Oneta Zane McKeever, 79, of Winfield, MO, will be held at a later date by her family. Oneta passed away Monday morning, January 25, 2010 at Troy Manor in Troy, MO. Born April 2, 1930 in Paris, TN, she was the daughter of Hogan and Evie Lemons Greene. She was united in marriage on October 11, 1947 in Mogerfield, KY to George Franklin McKeever. This union was blessed with four children: George Jr., John, Susan and Sharon. She worked as a waitress for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hogan and Evie Greene; one brother, Dale Greene; two sisters; Bernadine Hurt and Burline Burton; and one step-grandson, Danny Zeiss. Survivors include two sons: George McKeever Jr. of Winfield, MO, and John McKeever and his wife Susan of Arnold, MO; two daughters: Susan Geiger and her husband, David, and Sharon McKeever, all of St. Peters, MO; two step-daughters: Sandy McKeever and Judy Langston, both of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Jim Greene and his wife, Betty, of O'Fallon, MO; twenty grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, several great, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
