Obituary of Allen Dale Riefle

Allen Dale Riefle Funeral services for Allen Dale Riefle of Elsberry, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at the Elsberry United Methodist Church in Elsberry. Rev. Paul Garven, church pastor, will officiate with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Turner, David Turnbull, Brandon Turnbull, Bradley Turnbull, Jeff Pratt and Jared Pratt; honorary pallbearers will be Ryan McElfish, Brett Turnbull, Eli Turner, Joey Welch, Nicholas Pratt, Dean Riefle and Logan Pratt. Mr. Riefle, 58, died Thursday afternoon, November 26, 2009 at St. Joseph Hospital-West in Lake Saint Louis, MO. Born August 16, 1951 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Harold Frank and Beatrice Maxine Masters Riefle. He was a 1969 graduate of Elsberry High School. He was united in marriage on August 6, 1977 in Elsberry to Paula Susan Pratt. This union was blessed with three daughters: Danielle, Rachel and Cheri. Mr. Riefle was employed for the past 34 years at Drug Package in O'Fallon, MO where he was a printing supervisor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Bea Riefle. Survivors include his beloved wife of 32 years, Paula Riefle of Elsberry; their daughters: Danielle Riefle of Elsberry, Rachel Turner and her husband, Josh, of Elsberry, and Cheri Riefle of Elsberry; and two grandchildren: Eli and Reese Turner. He also leaves one brother, Harold F. Riefle, Jr. and his wife, Thelma, of Cahokia, IL; one sister, Donna Turnbull and her husband, Roy, of Elsberry; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 30, 2009 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
