Obituary of Steven Wayne Hardwick

Steven Wayne Hardwick Funeral services for Steven Wayne Hardwick of Elsberry, MO will be held at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry with Larry "Tinker" Vaughn of Elsberry officiating. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Dains, Jeffery Vishino, Tyrone Henderson, Kevin Davis, Billy Joe Hunter, Steve Qualacek and Steven Dains. Mr. Hardwick, 51, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at St. Joseph Health Center in Sr. Charles, MO. Born April 27, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN, he was the son of Kenneth Arnold and Hattie Katherine Rollins Hardwick. He worked in construction as a laborer for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Hattie Hardwick; and two sisters: Nancy Cafazzo and Nikki Jackson. Survivors include one son, Steven Hardwick and his fianc�e, Jessica Hardwick and their children Jordon, Nickolas and Stevajah Hardwick, of Elsberry; and two step-daughters: Juanita Davis and her children Jeffrey and Jonathan Vishino and Dillon Roberts, of St. Louis, and Crystal Borden and her son Domanick Davis of St. Louis. He also leaves three brothers: David Hardwick and his wife, Clayetta, of Kennett, MO, Dante Hardwick of Boston, MA, and Jeff Hardwick of Elsberry; three sisters: Patti Dains and her husband, Dennis, of Elsberry, Donna Disney and her husband, Carey, of Cincinnati, OH, and Janice Chandler of Elsberry; his companion, Wynette Harper; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
