Obituary of Kathleen Sue McCullough

Kathleen Sue McCullough Funeral services for Kathleen Sue McCullough of Moscow Mills, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Father Raymond Hager, pastor of Sacred Heart Church in Elsberry, MO, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Mrs. McCullough, 66, died early Monday morning, August 17, 2009 at the Lincoln County Medical Center in Troy, MO. Born May 16, 1943 in Dugger, IN, she was the daughter of David and Colmel Brown. She was united in marriage in 1983 in Carmi, IL to Doyle Eugene McCullough. She was employed as a dietician for 17 years at the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital in Lawrenceville, IL. She was also the Director of the Senior Citizens Center in Lawrence County, IL. After moving to Lincoln County, MO, she was employed for 16 years as a Quality Control person for Continental Sprayers in St. Peters, MO. After the company moved its operations to Mexico in 2008, Mrs. McCullough took a position as greeter at Wal-Mart in Troy, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Colmel Brown. Survivors include her beloved husband of 26 years, Doyle McCullough of Moscow Mills; one daughter, Teresa Watson Philips of Sumner, IL; three step-sons: Doug McCullough of Washington, IN, Mike McCullough of Terra Haute, IN, and Gary McCullough of Lawrenceville, IL; two step-daughters: Crystal McCullough and Amy McCullough, both of Bridgeport, IL; several grandchildren and one great-granddaughter; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 22, 2009 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield.
