Mary Elizabeth Dreisewerd A Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Elizabeth Dreisewerd of Old Monroe, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe. Msgr. Gregory Schmidt, church pastor, will officiate with burial in Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery near Old Monroe. Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Hogan, Dan Hogan, Tim Hogan, Mark Hogan, Darrin Hillen and Tom Kaiman. Ms. Dreisewerd, 88, died Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at her residence near Old Monroe. Born February 2, 1921 in Foristell, MO, she was the daughter of the late William and Mary Gnade Dreisewerd. A lifelong resident of rural Old Monroe, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by three brothers: Edward Peter Dreisewerd who died May 11, 1986, Raymond J. Dreisewerd who died September 7, 1990 and Elmer J. Dreisewerd who died February 11, 1998; and six sisters: Irene Caroline Dreisewerd who died December 14, 1970, Anna Marie Dreisewerd who died June 18, 1998, Flora B. Dreisewerd who died December 20, 1998, Bernadine Gertrude Kaiman who died February 1, 2004, Mildred Christina Bauer who died May 8, 2004, and Margaret Mary Dreisewerd who died February 15, 2006. Survivors include several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday, June 6, 2009 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe.
