Obituary of Michael E. Parrinello

Michael Earl Parrinello Funeral services for Michael Earl Parrinello of Silex, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Rev. John Zellmer, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, will officiate with burial in Elsberry City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Neil Wehde, Jarred Wehde, Josh Thompson, Tim Hanlon, Ivan Cason and Michael Gleba. Mr. Parrinello, 57, died Saturday afternoon, April 18, 2009 at St. Joseph Health Center in St. Charles, MO. Born February 12, 1952 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Joseph Anthony and Thelma Alma Haefner Parrinello. He graduated from Elsberry High School in 1972. He was united in marriage on September 1, 2007 in Silex to Belinda Jean Kennedy. He was employed for several years as in the auto manufacturing industry for Daimler Chrysler, retiring in 2003. He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Thelma Parrinello; and one step-daughter, Christina. Survivors include his beloved wife, Belinda Parrinello of Silex; one son: Matthew Joseph Parrinello of Elsberry; two daughters: Michelle Diane Parrinello-Cason and her husband, Ivan, of St. Louis, and Kristy Leigh Parrinello and her companion, Josh Thompson, of Elsberry; one stepson, Lawrence Eugene Ewan and his wife, Lilah, of Hazelwood, IL; and three grandchildren: Lucas, Justin, and David. He also leaves three sisters: Sharon Gleba and her husband, Richard, of O'Fallon, MO, Terri Hanlon and her husband, Tim, of Elsberry, and Robyn Wehde and her husband, Neil, also of Elsberry; his uncle Skip and Betty Haefner of St. Louis; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry.
