George Thomas Ebert A Memorial Service for George Thomas Ebert of Old Monroe, MO will be held at 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2009 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Jim Donohue, pastor of Life Spring Community Church in St. Charles, MO, will officiate with inurnment in Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Charles. Mr. Ebert, 76, died Monday morning, March 30, 2009 near O'Fallon, MO. Born November 16, 1932 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Alvin and Gladys Jameson Ebert. He was united in marriage on October 1, 1960 in St. Louis to Jane Cecelia Hansleben. This union was blessed with three children: Thomas, Kenneth, and Richard. He worked for several years in maintenance for Airwick, retiring in 1993. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Gladys Ebert; three brothers: Alvin, John and Anthony Ebert; and two sisters: Theresa Ebert and Margie Ebert Survivors include his beloved wife of 48 years, Jane Ebert of Old Monroe; three sons: Thomas Ebert and his companion, Judy Byington, of Old Monroe, Kenneth Ebert, and his wife, Nola, of Winfield, and Richard Ebert of St. Charles; eight grandchildren: Lindsey, Justin, Kassi, Zachary, Adam, Molly, Hannah, and Joseph Ebert; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Monday, April 6, 2009 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
