Obituary of Wayne Edwin Heppermann

A Mass of Christian Burial for Wayne Edwin Heppermann of St. Paul, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 5, 2014 at St. Paul Catholic Church in St. Paul. Fr. Gerald Blessing, church pastor, will officiate with burial in St. Paul Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Heppermann, Mike Koester, Jonathon Brown, Dave Hawkins, Brad Hemmer, Glen Heppermann, Carl Burkemper and Darin Bals. Honorary pallbearers will be Cody Moore and Justin Kaimann. Mr. Heppermann, 59, passed away Wednesday morning, July 2, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in St. Charles, MO. Born January 22, 1955 in St. Charles, he was the son of Linus Simon and Odelia Helen Weber Heppermann. He was united in marriage on November 20, 1976 in St. Paul to Doris Ann Dillon. This union was blessed with three children: Jessica, Jennifer and Jeffrey. He worked as a concrete truck driver for over 25 years, most recently for LaFarge Concrete before his retirement. He then went on to work in the Parks and Recreation Department for St. Charles County. Wayne was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Teamsters Local #682 and of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and most importantly, spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Linus and Odelia Heppermann. Survivors include his beloved wife of 37 years, Doris Heppermann of St. Paul; two daughters: Jessica Kaimann and her husband, Chris, of Old Monroe, MO and Jennifer Moore and her husband, Shawn, of Josephville, MO; one son, Jeffrey Heppermann of St. Paul; and five grandchildren: Alayna, Chloe and Justin Kaimann and Cody and Allyson Moore. He also leaves eight sisters: Shirley Koester and her husband, Vince, of St. Paul, Regina Hawkins and her husband, David, of St. Paul, Therese Westhoff and her husband, Jim, also of St. Paul, Mary Jane Burkemper and her husband, Carl, of Old Monroe, Ruth Gravens and her husband, Mike, of St. Paul, Carolyn Bals and her husband, Larry, of Old Monroe, Barbara Stahlschmidt and her husband, Tom, of St. Paul, MO and Nancy Heppermann of Moscow Mills, MO; two brothers: Linus Heppermann and his wife, MaryAnn of Wright City, MO and Glennon Heppermann and his wife, Kathy, of Perry, MO; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many, many friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2014 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO; and again on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at Church.
