Obituary of Helen Marie Wright

Funeral services for Helen Marie Wright of St. Charles, MO, formerly of Winfield, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Rev. Mike Ryan, pastor of the Winfield First Baptist Church, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery in Winfield. Ms. Wright, 85, passed away Thursday morning at Charlevoix Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in St. Charles, MO. Born November 7, 1923 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Frank and Margaret Oliver Miller. She was a 1941 graduate of Central High School in St. Louis. Ms. Wright was employed 28 years as a production worker and later inspector of electrical connectors for ITT - Blackburn in St. Louis, retiring in November, 1983. She was a member of the International Association of Machinists, Local 1345 in St. Louis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Margaret Miller; one brother, Jack Miller in 1968; and one daughter, Anne Marie Waters, who died February 8, 2006. Survivors include one daughter, Margaret Bandy and her husband, Gary, of St. Peters, MO; four grandchildren: Donna Bray of Palm City, FL, Steven Petit of Old Monroe, MO, Angela Phillips Williams and her husband, Mark, of Batchtown, IL, and Pamela McDonald and her husband, Mike, of St. Peters; and seven great-grandchildren. She also leaves one brother, George "Scottie" Miller of St. Louis County; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
