Obituary of Jane Carolyn Latham

Funeral Services for Jane Carolyn Latham of Winfield, MO will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 5, 2008 at Mid-America Baptist Church in Winfield, MO. Rev. Rick Koonce, church pastor, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Ostmann, Nick Ostmann, Mike Latham, Joe Latham, Chris Hicks, Virgil Estes, Jackie Estes and Randy Estes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dennis Estes, Austin Jordan, Caleb Jordan, Tyler Johnson, Luke Latham, Nicki Latham, Cody Bryan and Daniel Bryan. Ms. Latham, 65, passed away Thursday morning, May 1, 2008 at her home in Winfield. Born March 4, 1943 in Kennett, MO she was the daughter of John Albert and Mary Magdalene Simmons Burns. She was employed for many years as a MOD trainer at MEMC in St. Peters, MO, retiring May 1, 2004. Ms. Latham was a member of the Mid-America Baptist Church in Winfield. She was a former Avon representative and a former member of the Missouri Trail Riders club. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Burns. Survivors include two sons: Ricky Latham and his significant other, Judy Mullen, of Winfield, and Mick Latham and his wife, Sue, of Winfield; three daughters: Tammy Ostmann and her husband, Brian, of St. Charles, MO, Jennifer Bryan and her husband, Zach, of Winfield, and Angie Latham and her significant other, Kevin Jordan, also of Winfield; thirteen grandchildren: Brad Ostmann, Nick Ostmann, Mike Latham, Joe Latham, Luke Latham, Nicki Latham, Austin Jordan, Caleb Jordan, Cody Bryan, Daniel Bryan, Jill Buehrle and her husband, Dave, Kelly Gronewald and Chris Hicks; and two great-grandchildren, Alyessa Latham and Haley Hicks. She also leaves five brothers: Sonny Burns of Minor, MO, Virgil Estes and his wife, Shirly, of Portageville, MO, Dennis Estes and his wife, Nancy of Texas, Jackie Estes and his wife, Kathy, of Portageville, and Randy Estes also of Portageville; five sisters: Susan Spencer of Portageville, Patty Johnson and her husband, Donald Joe, Georgia Young of Portageville, Myra Gilkey of Neeleyville, MO and Sharon Ward and her husband, Scott, of Portageville; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
