Obituary of Rochelle G. Mcelroy

Rochelle Georgeann McElroy Funeral services for Rochelle Georgeann McElroy of Winfield, MO, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2008 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield. Rev. Mike Ryan, pastor of Winfield Baptist Church, will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Serving as pallbearers will be Brian Franke, Chris Lawrence, Marc Lawrence, Denny Beckemeier, Travis McElroy and Michael Franke. Mrs. McElroy, 51, passed away early Saturday morning, February 16, 2008 at her home in Winfield. Born September 9, 1956 in St. Charles, MO, she was the daughter of Eugene Frederick and Ginger Carol Stillman Franke. She was a 1974 graduate of Winfield High School in Winfield, MO. She was employed for several years as a teller/supervisor at the Winfield branch of Peoples Bank & Trust Company. She was united in marriage on July 18, 2002 in Troy, MO to Robert Timothy McElroy. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Ginger Franke. Survivors include her beloved husband, Tim McElroy of Winfield; her two sons: Christopher Lawrence and his wife, Kristy Dougherty, of O'Fallon, MO, and Marc Lawrence and his wife, Joanna of Winfield; her daughter, Brittney Lawrence of Winfield; one step-son, Travis McElroy and his wife, Katie, of Troy; one step-daughter, Betsy Bartig and her husband, Matt, of Augusta, GA; one granddaughter, Ariana Lawrence and two step-grandsons, Micah and Jonah Bartig. She also leaves one brother, Brian Franke and his wife, Sheryl of Lee Summit, MO; two sisters: Saundra Beckemeier and her husband, Denny, of Olathe, KS, and Valerie Franke of Winfield; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
