Obituary of Barbara Ann Jennings

Funeral Services for Barbara Ann Jennings of Florissant, MO will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Pastor Fielding Poe, pastor of First Baptist Church Winfield, will officiate. Burial will in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Barb, 78, passed away early Thursday morning, January 9, 2025 at her home. Born December 25, 1946 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Sam and Mary England. Barb had a variety of careers over the years including health studies for the Centers for Disease Control, salesperson for Health Insurance, and a hair stylist in St. Louis, retiring in 2012. She enjoyed aerial photography. Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Mary England; and one brother, Jerry Jennings. Survivors include four children: Dennis Daugherty and his wife, Mary, of Eolia, MO, Anthony Saunchgrow and his wife, Dana, of Florissant, Deborah Bray and her husband, Richard, of Winfield, and Christine Berry and her husband, Will, of Theodore, AL; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Barb also leaves two brothers: Dan England and his wife, Donna, of New Orleans, LA and Bob England and his wife, Sue, of Edwardsville, IL; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until time of the Service at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield.
