Obituary of Richard Emil Bury

Richard Emil Bury, 74, passed away early Tuesday morning, December 31, 2024 at his home near Foley. Born June 21, 1950 in St. Louis, MO, he was the son of Thomas W. and Helen Louise Caldwell Bury, Jr. Richard was united in marriage on October 27, 1990 in Foley to Tammie Fay Williams. He worked as a machinist for Seyer Industry. Richard had a love of music and hummingbirds. Richard was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Helen Bury, Jr.; two brothers: Michael Wayne and Bruce Thomas Bury; one sister-in-law, Julie King; and two brothers-in-law: Ronnie Williams and Donnie Williams. Survivors include his beloved wife of 34 years, Tammie Bury of Foley; one daughter, Angel Chevalier of North Carolina; three grandchildren: Cheltsee Wyatt, Daisy May Chevalier and Morgan Neese; and one great-grandchild, Chase Wyatt. Richard also leaves one brother, Junior Vrnisk; his in-laws: Ronnie Darrel King, Beth Walter and her husband, Bob, Bonnie Williams, Dianna Williams, Verne Lacey and his wife, Sandy, and Susie Williams; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
