Obituary of Steven Patrick Henry

Steven (Patrick) Henry, 75, of Elsberry, MO, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Saturday, December 28, 2024. He was born on October 1, 1949, in Olney, MO, to John T. Henry Sr. and Lillian (Smith) Henry. Pat attended Millwood and Troy Schools, where he met and married Patricia Lester. This union was blessed with two children: Casey and Jodi. Pat was a lifelong resident of Lincoln County and worked as a concrete finisher for Henry Concrete for over 30 years. Known for his playful spirit, Pat loved to be a jokester, always finding ways to make people laugh and bring joy to those around him. His eyes lit up most when he was surrounded by his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the pride and joy of his life. In his younger years, Pat had a bit of a wild streak, embracing life’s adventures to the fullest. He also had a deep love for the outdoors, spending his free time hunting, fishing, and riding his horses through the countryside. Pat was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas and Lillian Henry; one brother, John Henry, Jr.; and three sisters: Doris Henry, Karen Rhoades, and Kathy Henry. He is survived by his companion, Patsy Kinsler; son, Casey Henry, and his wife, Tricia, of Foley, MO; daughter, Jodi Mauzy, and her husband, Roger, of Elsberry; seven grandchildren: Emma (Michael) Hartley, Clare Henry, Bo Henry, Savannah (Nate) Kiefer, Leighton (Becca) Vaughn, Isabella Mauzy, and Rex Mauzy; and three great-grandchildren: Kristen Vaughn, Remi Jo Vaughn, and Lennon Kiefer.
