Obituary of Shirley Naomi Rose

Shirley Naomi Rose Graveside services for Shirley Naomi Rose of Bridgeton, MO will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 16, 2007 at Thornhill Cemetery near Troy, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Collins, Charles Usher, Jason Simpson, Tim Rose, Wade Rose and Jimmy Ray Simpson. Mrs. Rose, 72, died Saturday evening, August 11, 2007 at her home in Bridgeton. Born October 12, 1934 in Lincoln County, MO, she was the daughter of Orville and Lois Pollard Dudley. She was a 1952 graduate of Pattonville High School in Pattonville, (St. Louis County) MO. She was united in marriage on September 15, 1952 in Pocahontas, AR to James Farrell Rose. This union was blessed with four children: Vickie, Cindy, Sherry and Tim. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Lois Dudley. Survivors include her beloved husband of almost 55 years, James F. Rose of Bridgeton; one son, Tim Rose of Florissant, MO; three daughters: Vickie Glass and her husband, Herb, of St. Louis County, MO, Cindy Collins and her husband, Michael, of Foley, MO, and Sherry Usher and her husband, Charles, of O'Fallon, MO; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She also leaves one sister, Joyce Simpson of Bridgeton; several nieces, nephews, great-nephew, God-child, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
