Funeral Services for Dominique Lahtrell Powell of Louisiana, MO will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Rev. Brenda Cockrell, pastor of Centennial United Methodist Church in Elsberry will officiate. Dominique, 26, passed away Sunday, November 10, 2024 at University of Missouri Health Center in Columbia, MO. Born September 17, 1998 in Lake St. Louis, MO, he was the son of James Porter and Crystal Ann Powell. He was preceded in death by his father, James Porter; grandmother, Wheeler Powell; grandfather, Leon Porter; Aunt, Rose’Zetta Powell of Elsberry; great-aunt, Wanda Mae of Elsberry; great-uncle of Louisiana; his great-grandparents of Bowling Green, MO and Louisiana; and many other beloved relatives. Survivors include his mother, Crystal Powell of Louisiana; and his siblings: Rahiem Porter of St. Louis, MO, Tyreck Porter of Louisiana, Kobe Porter of Louisiana, Tyra Henderson of Elsberry, Tynesha Henderson of St. Charles, MO, Jamyzia Porter of Columbia and Neosha Henderson of Elsberry; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home.
