"I don't know what good it does to say so, the only way that [avoiding eachother's funerals] is like to happen is making sure the plane hits hard."
"No, no; I'm just picking up speed so we make it over the mountain.
We got this."
"I have every confidence".
"That gas gauge never worked, anyway."

The world stood still hearing the loss of Andy, whose beautiful soul touched countless lives.
From the moment Andy walked into my life, everything changed. He was a part of some of my most unforgettable moments, helping to shape the aspects of myself that I cherish most.
Andy wasnt there just for the great times; he stood by during the messy moments, sharing tears and everything in between. His presence, even when we were miles apart, served as a constant reminder that I was never alone.
Memories forever etched in my heart, the first night of shenanigans as besties, the first festival...and all the ones we shared together with friends thereafter.
Life will never be the same, but I thank the universe for letting our paths cross. Love you forever and always.

We are lost without Andy bear.
He brought so much joy, fun and laughter to everyone he met.
We'll always have Andy in our hearts especially when we are dancing.

Andy held a very big place in my heart. We shared a best friend for many years. When John passed in 2002, Andy was there for me more than I would have ever expected. We were able to talk to each other, share stories and just remember our dear friend together. It made the loss a little less unbearable. I knew from the first day I met Andy that he was special, a lot like John was. Andy could make you smile when you were having a bad day and make light out of any situation. His laugh was infectious. One of my favorite memories was when Andy called me up out of the blue and asked me to meet him at Blackhawk. I did just that only to see him standing there next to a small four man plane. Although I am
Extremely afraid of heights, I went along with him and allowed him to fly me all the way back to chesterfield airport where he had rented the plane. It was one of the scariest, craziest and unforgettable experiences of my life.
Andy also invited me to Central State University during his first few months at school. He introduced me to a lot of his friends and showed me around. We had a blast. It was the only college experience I ever got being that I attended a small community college. It was a weekend I would never forget. Because of Andy I truly lived life a little bit fuller and would never have had those experiences without him. I can’t help but think that him and his best friend are up there laughing and joking together and being so happy to be reunited. Thank you Andy for being a part of my life. Love you always!

I'm sorry to hear about Andy's passing. He held a special place in my heart from our college days and throughout my twenties. His charisma, remarkable sense of humor, and ability to connect with others made conversation effortless. He built an extensive circle of friends who loved him fiercely.
I always appreciated how welcome I felt during holidays and family visits. Sending you strength during this difficult time.
With sympathy,
Katie Disper (née Thomas)
