Obituary of Michelle Annette Mooney

Michelle A. Mooney passed away peacefully at her home in St. Charles, MO at the age of 57 on August 6th, 2024. Michelle is survived by her daughter, Christina Mooney (Jake) Sneed; siblings Paula (Dan) Lang, Don (Dawn) Mooney; her grandchildren: Spencer, Lily, Mitchell and Sadie Sneed; her nieces and nephews: Brandon Lang, Danielle Lang, Cory Lang, Shane Lang, Sami Mooney, Paul Lang, Taylor Mooney, and several great-nieces and nephews. Michelle also leaves behind her very close and amazing friend, Tiffany Creech; her outing partners Asia Thigpen and Amy Oliver; as well as many wonderful Emmaus staff and friends. Michelle lived in an Emmaus home where Michelle and her roommates did daily activities, camps, and took many trips to Branson. Michelle never met a stranger. She was always so loving and kind to everyone. Michelle attended the McClay Day Program where she bonded with her friend Maria. Michelle loved making bracelets and many other crafts and sharing her masterpieces with everyone. Michelle is preceded in death by her parents, Donald Mooney Sr. and Judy Costello Mooney. The celebration of life for Michelle Mooney will be held Sunday September 22, 2024 from 1-3 p.m. at Emmaus Homes located at 3731 Mueller Road, St. Charles, MO. Michelle's 58th birthday would have been September 23rd. The celebration of life will be a casual event. We ask if possible please wear her favorite colors pink, purple or Cardinals attire.
