I met Del threw his brother David 16 years ago and every time he came to Texas to visit David he treated me like his other little brother. We had long talks we went on fishing trips and took him camping and got his new truck stuck in the mud I didn’t get to see him a lot but when he came to town it was a celebration im really going to miss my friend and brother

When I first met Del working at Hackmann Lumber, he was chivalrous & thoughtful. Not too many guys would go out of their way to help someone just to be helpful but Del was that kind of person. A truly selfless person he was. His kindness, great smile, and warm personality will be missed by all who love him. I only wish my friend Debbie (his wife) did not have to feel the pain of this great loss. To all the family & friends who will miss him always, I pray for your comfort and peace.
