Obituary of Peggy Annette Pratt
Funeral Services for Peggy Annette Pratt of Elsberry, MO will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Elsberry First Christian Church. Rev. Kris Hagemeier, church pastor, will officiate with burial in the Elsberry City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Tim Brown, Bill Pratt, Leon Pritchett, Slade Pritchett, Dustin Hagemeier, and Sam Steward.
Annette, 62, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 30, 2024 at SSM DePaul Hospital in Bridgeton, MO. Born September 13, 1961 in Louisiana, MO, she was the daughter of Walter Herbert and Hazel Frances Pritchett Pratt. Annette received her Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing with a Minor in Math. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri St. Louis in 1988. Annette worked as a proof reader for Valpak. She enjoyed playing the guitar and classical piano. Annette was a longtime member of the Elsberry First Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Hazel Pratt; her uncles Robert Pratt, Charles Pratt, and Robert Pritchett, her aunt Dorothy Brown, and her cousins Robert A. Pratt, Charles F. Pratt, Tony Pratt, and Tina Corum.
Annette is survived by her uncle Gene Pratt, her aunt Martha Lou Hills, and her cousins: Malaine Hagemeier, Leon Pritchett, Linda Koch, Tim Brown, Deborah Brooks, Jami Kelly, Bill Pratt, Nancy McElfish, Paula Riefle, Marcia Lambert, Mona Seaman, Amanda Wilken and Brittney Arendt. She also leaves a special friend Paula Estes of Marshall, Texas.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Elsberry First Christian Church. Memorials may be made to Elsberry First Christian Church (or) Born This Way Foundation in care of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home, 107 South 5th Street; Elsberry, MO 63343.
