Peggy Jean England Funeral services for Peggy Jean England of Elsberry, MO were held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, July 8, 2007 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO. Rev. Lee Hartley of Ramsey Creek Baptist Church in Clarksville, MO officiated with burial in Auburn Cemetery near Silex, MO. Serving as pallbearers were Corey Enos, Stephen M. Enos, Ryan Enos, Brett Hanke, Mike Carmi and Kenneth Martin. Mrs. England, 65, died Thursday evening, July 5, 2007 at Elsberry Healthcare Center near Elsberry, MO. Born September 1, 1941 in Ferguson, MO, she was the daughter of Otis Oliver and Linnie Etta Williams Frazer. She was united in marriage on August 20, 1986 in Clarksville, MO to William E. England, Jr. She was employed for 16 years as a cook at Elsberry Healthcare Center near Elsberry. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Lester Frazer and Leroy Frazer; and one sister, Mildred Wessell. Survivors include her beloved husband of almost 21 years, Bill England, Jr. of Elsberry; three sons: Stephen Douglas Enos and his wife, Diane, of Troy, MO, Timothy Dennis Enos and his wife, Shirley, of Spokane, WA, and Jason Lee Harrell and his wife, Brooke, of Springfield, MO; three sisters: Erma Logeman of Salinas, CA, Edna Terry and her husband, Lowell, of High Hill, MO, and Betty Payne and her husband, Reginold, of St. Charles, MO; ten grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Visitation was held from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 7, 2007 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry, MO.
