You were just starting to get your life in order and doing a great job of trying to get there. We had just talked about going to the gym for healthy life styles to begin Dalton. Working out, going to church for life changing events, seeing your son , doing all those “dad” things you do deserved and wanted. Finishing schooling and a career you had been dreaming of finally doing!! I was so excited and willing to help you grow beyond your dreams. Take care up there and look down on your son carefully guiding him , as only you can do. Your angel wings are yours ..fly high fly free…cardinals come visit as signs of love and you will too! Dalton, I’m never going to be ok again. We used to talk all hours of the night of our futures, and what we imagined they’d look like. Neither of us ever would have expected this. I hope the last thing you thought of before you left this world was us and our son. Thank you for texting me just 3 days before saying you loved and missed me, and wanted to see Dexter and I. I’ll keep that in my heart forever. I’m not sure what I’m going to do without you here, but your memory will stay alive in my heart, mind, and voice when I’m telling stories of you to Dexter. He’s going to miss you and wish he could remember you so bad. I remember when I first saw you, you looked familiar; like I had loved you before. When I told you this, you told me that we were soulmates who found each other in every universe. Though your time in this one was cut short, I know I’m going to find you in every life.
