Funeral Services for Patricia Lois Kissel of Winfield, MO will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. J. Larry Carter of Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Winfield will officiate with burial in Whispering Winds Cemetery near Winfield. Patricia, 74, passed away Sunday morning, December 10, 2023 at Delmar Gardens O’Fallon in O’Fallon, MO. Born December 3, 1949 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Vernon Lewis and Virginia Marie Kincaid Thornburgh. Patricia was a 1967 graduate of Riverview High School. She was united in marriage on June 22, 1968 in Clayton, MO to James Lindell Kissel. This union was blessed with one son, Aaron. Patricia was a loving homemaker. She loved flowers and gardening. Patricia enjoyed painting scenery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Virginia Thornburgh. Survivors include her beloved husband of 55 years, James Kissel of Winfield; and their son, Aaron Kissel of Winfield. Patricia also leaves one sister, Christine Sue Redemeier of Odessa, FL; other relatives and friends.
