Obituary of Beulah Louise Ivy

Funeral services for Beulah Louise Ivy of Elsberry, MO will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home in Elsberry. Rev. Benny Blout of Wright City, MO, will officiate with burial in the Elsberry City Cemetery near Elsberry. Serving as pallbearers will be Beulah’s great-grandchildren. Ms. Ivy, 97, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Aspire of Jonesburg in Jonesburg, MO. Born January 14, 1926 in Ellsinore, MO, she was the daughter of Andrew J. and Edith Mae Graham Blue. Beulah worked as a cook for the Elsberry Health Care Center, retiring in 1996. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Edith Blue; and her ten brothers and sisters. Survivors include her children: Jack Ivy and his wife, Linda, of Elsberry and Kathryn Brannum and her husband, Jim, of Poplar Bluff, MO; five grandchildren: Glenda Vitro of Wentzville, MO, Robin and her husband, Mark, of Arkansas, Brenda Vitro of Elsberry and Jeff Ivy and his wife, Andrea, of Elsberry; five great-grandchildren: Alex Vitro, Colin Vitro, Mason Vitro, Jeffry Whiston and Abigail Lovelace; two step-great-grandchildren: Emma Langston and Riley Langston; other relatives and friends Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 13, 2023 Carter-Ricks Funeral Home.
