I am so sorry to hear of Keith's passing. I grew up with Keith and shared many, many activities with him at First Baptist Church where all of his family was active. As we graduate and go our separate ways we often lose our contact with old friends, but I have never forgotten Keith and all of his family...his mom, such a sweet spirit! My heart and prayers go out to Judy and all their family. I will hold you in my prayers for comfort only God can bring. I miss those days in Elsberry..sharing in so many church events and eating lunch at the Larue's across from the hight school. God bless and draw close to you! Rich Lawson

Losing Keith really hits hard. As a kid, I first came to know of him as a fixture at our church where he was a deacon & energetic teacher of Sunday school classes. Then, as Marks friend growing up, both Mr. & Mrs. Palmer always welcomed me into their home and treated me like one of their own. There were so many evenings spent there watching movies or hanging out in the basement. Keith would engage in conversation and was excited to share stories & his love of his hobbies such as movies, sports, sports card collecting and golf. Also, there wasnt a time when he wasnt excited to dish out as much food as I could handle!!
As I got older, I carried on the tradition of stopping by the Palmers' house on Christmas Eve, even into my 30s, and to this day there isn't a Christmas where I don't think of those special times during the holidays.
The last time I saw Keith was in 2021. He insisted on painting walls in a house for Mark. He had slowed physically, but so long as he could walk, he was going to paint those walls. He told me how he prepped the paint & how to do the job right with all of the same pride, passion & youthful charm he always had with seemingly every job he did.
My thoughts & prayers go out to Judy, Mark, Lisa & her family. In my heart, I celebrate what a wonderful person you all shared with me.

I just read Keith's obituary and I am shocked at learning of his death. First I want to extend my deepest condolence to Judy Palmer and family. I also want to extend my deepest condolence to all of Keith's friends and I am sure there are many. I grew up with Keith in Elsberry and we graduated from High School the same year. I last saw Keith at Sun Valley Golf course in Elsberry where we reconnected and had a great discussion on our lives. I am really heartbroken to find out that Keith has left us. So many are leaving us but I know that Keith will be in Heaven because he was a really good man. Rest in peace old friend. Thanks for coming to see me when I was a few weeks behind you in Basic Training. I am so sorry Judy. God Bless you and family.
