Obituary of Alex Bryan Kersting

Funeral Services for Alex Bryan Kersting of Old Monroe, MO will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Deacon Neal Westhoff of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church near Old Monroe, will officiate. Inurnment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery at a later date. Alex, 27, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 in Troy, MO. Born May 23, 1996 in St. Charles, MO, he was the son of Tim Joseph Kersting and Kelly Marie Sitze. Alex was a 2014 graduate of Winfield High School. He worked as a laborer. Alex was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Glennon Kersting; and step-grandparents, Carol and Kenneth Keiser. Survivors include his parents: Kelly Keiser and her husband, Jeff, of Old Monroe and Tim Kersting and his wife, Misty, of Old Monroe; two brothers: Damon Kersting and his wife, Karissa, and Spencer Keiser; one sister, Samantha Kersting-Schadek and her husband, Jordan; and two nephews: Tristan and Brycen Kersting. Alex also leaves his paternal grandparents: Betty Kersting of Old Monroe and Rick and Brenda Masterson of Winfield; his maternal grandparents, Ron and Debbie Sitze of Moscow Mills; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home.
