Obituary of Jennifer Elizabeth Politte

Funeral Services for Jennifer Elizabeth Politte of Winfield, MO will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. John Kelleher will officiate. Jennifer, 46, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 at her home. Born March 28, 1977 in St. Louis, MO, she was the daughter of Wayne and Cindy Stokes Amelung. Jennifer was a 1995 graduate of Ritenour Senior High. She was united in marriage on March 4, 1995 in St. Louis to Vern Politte II. This union was blessed with one son, Brendan. Jennifer was a loving homemaker. Survivors include her beloved husband of 28 years, Vern Politte II of Winfield; one son, Brendan Politte and his wife, Ashley, of Winfield; and three grandchildren: Bellamy, Coraline and Jaytenn Politte. Jennifer also leaves her parents: Wayne Amelung of Moscow Mills, MO and Cindy Amelung of Hazelwood, MO; her maternal grandmother, Roberta “Bobbie” Stokes of Hazelwood; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home. The family asks all who attend to wear purple.
