Obituary of Kimberly Faye Doney

Funeral Services for Kimberly Faye Doney of Foley, MO will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home near Winfield, MO. Burial will be in Troy City Cemetery in Troy, MO. Serving as pallbearers will be Christopher Lagana, Leonard “Austin” Gott, James Lagana, Joseph Stretch, Tony Loeffler and Shirley Littlejohn. Kim, 49, passed away Sunday evening, August 13, 2023 at Evelyn’s House in Creve Coeur, MO. Born March 14, 1974 in Troy, she was the daughter of Charles Lagana and Deborah Parton. Kim was a loving homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Lagana; her grandfather, James Parton; and her husband, Chris Doney in 2021. Survivors include her children: Veronica Stretch and her husband, Joseph, of Winfield, Cortney Christensen of Wright City, MO, Leonard “Austin” Gott of Warrenton, MO and James Lagana of Winfield; and nine grandchildren: Ethan, Charlee, Joseph, Emery, Kobey, Lynnlee, Hunter, Savannah and Blaklee. Kim also leaves her mother, Deborah Wendt of Foley; maternal grandmother, Myrtle Parton of Foley; her brother, Chris Lagana of Foley; other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Services at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, August 21, 2023 at Carter-Ricks Funeral Home.
